Operating Principle

Principle Overview

  • Centrifugal acceleration (a_c = ω²r) separates components by density — heavier particles migrate outward, lighter phases remain near the axis.
  • Continuous feed from the lower inlet maintains steady separation under constant dynamic conditions.
  • Solids adhere to the rotor wall and are removed through the front discharge port, while clarified liquid is discharged automatically.
Blue Engineering Insight:
Optimize separation by tuning RPM and flow rate (Q) according to target particle size (d50).
For increased viscosity, raise RPM by 5–10% or reduce Q for stable efficiency.
